Little Rockers Band
Using the National Standards of Music Education as a guideline, Little Rockers brings age appropriate, small group music instruction to Cresthaven Afterschool. With unique, hands-on techniques, original music, and a Cresthaven-tailored curriculum, Little Rockers teaches scholars about singing, performing, instruments, reading and notating music, as well as listening to and analyzing music. Involvement in a Little Rockers class requires scholars to build their listening skills, memory, communication, speech and language, as well as math, because, after all, music is math and patterns.
